The medium frequency induction reheating furnace project for a steel mill in Kazakhstan, contracted by Hebei Yuantuo Induction, has fully finished on-site installation, electrical wiring, overall commissioning and trial production acceptance. This production line is used for secondary reheating of square and round steel billets before hot rolling, solving uneven temperature and low rolling qualification rate problems of steel billets. Induction heating features rapid temperature rise with even and controllable temperature, which can accurately heat billets to the optimal rolling temperature, greatly improving finished product rate and reducing defective rate. The whole IGBT induction power supply runs stably to adapt to local industrial power supply. The equipment is high-temperature resistant and dust-proof, perfectly suitable for harsh steel mill working conditions.
