2 Working Principle of the System

The whole induction heating system operates on the electromagnetic eddy current effect. Alternating current passes through customized induction coils to form alternating electromagnetic fields. When steel ball blanks pass through the magnetic field, eddy currents are induced inside the blanks. Heat is generated by the inherent resistance of metal, realizing high-efficiency conversion from electric energy to thermal energy. The blanks obtain uniform through-heat in a short time to reach the forming temperature required by hot rolling.
Compared with traditional heating equipment such as gas furnaces and resistance furnaces, the system achieves higher energy conversion efficiency and cuts heating energy consumption per steel ball. The whole process operates without open flame, eliminating fire and scald risks caused by open fire heating and improving workshop safety from the heat source side.

  2. Calibrate output parameters of IGBT heating power supply periodically and clean internal dust and scale to maintain stable output of power and frequency.
