Steel pipes, oil casings, drill collars, hydraulic supports and similar long tubular workpieces require stable conveying, consistent temperature control and reliable automation during quenching and tempering.

Yuantuo steel pipe and oil casing induction heat treatment lines can be customized according to pipe outside diameter, wall thickness and steel grade. For pipes with upset ends, the end section and the middle pipe body have different dimensions. If the same heating parameters are used for the whole pipe, temperature differences may occur.

To solve this problem, the line can be equipped with a dedicated upset-end temperature compensation system. The compensation furnace can track the upset end online and apply targeted heating, helping control the temperature difference between the upset end and the pipe body.

 

For the conveying system, each roller shaft can be driven by an independent motor reducer and controlled by an independent frequency inverter. Sectional speed control allows flexible adjustment for different pipe sizes. During feeding, the pipe rotates while moving forward, which helps improve heating uniformity. The rollers between furnace sections use 304 non-magnetic stainless steel with water cooling for continuous operation.

The production line can also include a recipe management system. After the operator inputs the steel grade, outside diameter and wall thickness, the system can call the related process parameters, reducing manual records and repeated parameter input.

Before quotation, overseas buyers are advised to provide pipe outside diameter, wall thickness, length, material grade, heat treatment target, production capacity and whether the pipe has upset ends or thickened end sections.
