Description
Yuantuo’s induction heat-treatment line is engineered for efficient heating, quenching, and tempering of wear-resistant grinding rods used in rod mills. Optimized for Ø50–140 mm diameters and 2.2–6.0 m lengths, the line delivers 1–3 t/h throughput to meet a range of production scales.
Primary Use
Quench-and-temper processing of rod-mill grinding bars to achieve high strength and excellent wear resistance for demanding industrial applications.
Power System
Power range: 350–1,000 kW @ 0.5–2.5 kHz
Configurable to production rate, grade, and section size.
Line Features
Precision Roller Geometry
Conveyor rollers are set at a defined helix angle relative to the workpiece axis so each bar both rotates and advances uniformly. This ensures circumferentially even heating and consistent residence time.
- Rollers between inductors: non-magnetic 304 stainless steel with water cooling for stability and durability.
- Other roller sections: 45# (C45) steel with surface hardening to extend service life.
Independently Controlled Sections
Infeed, inductor, and outfeed groups are each controlled independently. This minimizes inter-part gaps, stabilizes continuous heating, and improves overall line productivity.
Accurate, Closed-Loop Temperature Control
Infrared pyrometers integrated with a PLC provide closed-loop control of quench and temper temperatures. Tight control delivers target hardness and mechanical properties part after part.
Industrial PC (IPC) Smart HMI
Real-time display of operating parameters with recipe memory, data storage, print/export, fault indication, and alarm functions—simplifying monitoring, traceability, and maintenance.
